We are a Swiss based Independent Asset Management company providing comprehensive wealth management and investment counseling services to high-net-worth individuals. Through our custodian banks and open platform relationships, we offer a secure, discrete and independent service therefore eliminating potential conflicts of interest.
We take great care to tailor each investment strategy based on the risk tolerance and time frame of each individual. Our focus is a long term strategy supported by short term measures enabling us to react immediately to changing financial and investment conditions. Our goal is to exceed the client's expectations over the long run, and thus maintaining a long standing relationship with the client.

We are also a regulated entity by the AOOS (Aufsichtsorganisation für Vermögensverwalter und Trustees), whose Association is supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
In addition, we have delegated the risk management and compliance functions to the company BV & Compliance Sagl. in Lugano, Switzerland.

MARKUS JOSEF GRESCH
Member of the Board of Directors
Mr. Markus Gresch, LIC, IUR., LLM serves as the president and board member of Illumina Capital Management SA. In addition to his duties at Illumina, he sits on the board of over 25 Swiss Companies including the Proman AG Group, one of the leading trading and procurement companies in the world. Earlier in life, He was engaged as consultant for multinational companies with Winterthur Life Insurance, where he was responsible for pension planning services. Mr. Gresch completed his studies of Law at the University of Zurich where he obtained a Lic. Jur Dregree in 1982, a Patent Attorney Degree in 1985 and an LLM in international Law in 2001. He speaks German and English.
BRUNO FLORENZANO
President & Managing Director
Asset Manager and Responsible for the AML (LRD)
Bruno has been a Managing Director of Illumina Capital Management since 2006, the year of the Company foundation. Before he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in its Wealth Management Division, for several years, covering the Latin American Markets from its Swiss Bank. Earlier in his career he was a Product Manager at the General Electric Company in its Electrical Distribution and Control Division in the US. Bruno has an MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City. Earlier on he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Political Sciences from Hunter College of the City University of New York. Bruno speaks English, Italian and Portuguese.
NILCE CUNHA
Administrative coordinator
Nilce has more than forty years of experience within the financial, administrative and strategic planning fields. She worked in Brazil in international companies, being 25 years in the Praxair and Avon. In Switzerland, she worked in the financial and compliance Brazil areas. She is the co-founder of IntEmpreender, which aims to support entrepreneurs on learning about the Swiss entrepreneurial ecosystem. She also volunteers in several projects with the Consulate of Brazil in Zürich. Nilce has a degree in Economics from UCAM – RJ holds an MBA in Finance from PUC/RJ (Brazil), and concluded several specialization courses. Nilce speaks Portuguese, German, English and Spanish.
CAROLINA AESCHLIMANN
Legal & Administrative
Carolina has several years of experience within the legal and administrative fields. She has co-authored numerous law books and articles for law journals. In Switzerland she worked in international organizations, NGOs and the private sector. She is engaged in volunteer work to help with the integration of the Portuguese-speaking community in Switzerland. Carolina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from FMU (Brazil), a Specialization in International Law from PUC/SP (Brazil), and a Master in International Law and International Relations from the University of Lisbon (Portugal). She speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and German.
ANTONIO RUSSO
Asset Manager & substitute AML (LRD)
Antonio has had a long and lasting relationship with Illumina. He is the Company’s risk manager and the asset manager substitute. Previously, from 2012 to 2019, Antonio was the founder and CEO of Nine East Consulting, a Lugano based fiduciary company dealing with wealth management and estate planning clients. Earlier on Antonio worked for more than 20 years in the Arner Banking Group and at Arner Bank covering several functions doing his tenure. Some of his tasks, over the years, included being part of the Investment and Asset Allocation Committee of the Bank dealing with wealth management clients. He served as the bank’s Risk Manager and finally as its Chief Financial Officer. Through his vast experience he has been able to advise clients on a wide range of issues as in assisting clients optimize their business planning and investments, in Switzerland and internationally. Antonio is also a board member on a number of Swiss and foreign companies. Antonio is a graduate of the ISTUD Business School in Stresa, Italy. He speaks Italian, English, French and basic German.
